DEPENDABLE POWER SYSTEMS

STANDARD ALARMS AND INDICATIONS
The following are the standard alarms and indications provided on the Series 9000 UPS. Other alarms can be added if required by the customer. If any of red indicators light or any of the green indicators go out, the horn will sound until the "Horn Silence" pushbutton is pushed or the alarm condition clears. If the horn is silenced and a new alarm condition develops, the horn will sound again.
1) AC Input Not Available (Rectifier/Charger Input) (Red)
2) Rectifier/Charger Overload (Red)
3) Rectifier/Charger Failure (Undervoltage, Overvoltage, or fuse blown) (Red)
4) Battery Discharging (Red)
5) Battery Near Exhaustion (Red)
6) Battery Breaker Open (Red)
7) Over TemperaturelFan Failure (Fan only on single phase 20KV A and up, and three phase 40KV A and up) (Red)
8) Inverter Failure (Switch selectable 90% or 95% undervoltage, fusees) blown, loss of output)
(Red)
9) In Sync (Indicates inverter is synchronized to the bypass input) (Green)
10) Load On Inverter (Green)
11) Load On Bypass (Red)
12) System Overload (Switch Selectable from 100% to 140%) (Red)
13) Bypass Not Available (AC input to static switch) (Red)
14) Output Available (Green) .
15) Manual Bypass Switch: Green - Switch position is in load on static switch.
Red - Switch position is in load on bypass (maintenance)

METERS:
1) Rectifier/Charger: DC volts, DC amps, and battery volts.
2) Inverter: TRMS AC volts, frequency (On two and three phase units, phase being read is indicated by yellow LED's and is pushbutton selectable).
3) Output Current (On two and three phase units, phase being read is indicated by yellow LED's and is pushbutton selectable).

INTERNAL INDICATORS, ADJUSTMENTS, AND CONTROLS
The following items ar.e located on the circuit boards inside the unit. These controls should only be adjusted under the direction of Dependable Power Systems service department by qualified personnel.
1) Fuse blown indicators
2) Charger Float/Equalize switch and voltage adjustment.
3) Charger current limit adjustment (1st and 2nd stage).
4) Charger overvoltage limit.
5) Inverter frequency adjustment (osc).
6) Inverter phase angle adjustment (3 phase only).
7) DC shutdown voltage adjustment.
8) Static switch overload selector switch (100, 110, 120, & 130 and 140%).
9) Auto-retransfer after overload (on/off).
10) Auto-retransfer time delay adjustment (0 to 120 seconds, 30 seconds standard).
11) Inverter output undervoltage transfer level selector switch (90% or 95%).
OTHER FEATURES
1) On-line inverter provides back up power without switching for the ultimate dependability in an emergency .
2) Fully automatic restart after shutdown because of discharge of batteries and return of utility.
3) Automatic retransfer to inverter after an overload.
4) Ferroresonant inverter transformer for the maximum in dependability and isolation, and the ability to handle nonlinear loads.
5) SCR's for the maximum in reliability.
6) Optional Remote Status Panel.
